HCA VIRGINIA OPENS OUTPATIENT IMAGING CENTER IN CHESTERFIELD COUNTYGrand opening includes GE Womens Health and Wellness TourRichmond, VA, May 6, 2006 The Chesterfield Imaging Center, HCA Virginias newest facility, is celebrating its opening with free screenings, tours and an appearance by the GE Womens Health & Wellness Tour on Friday, May 12, and Saturday, May 13. Chesterfield Imaging is located off of Hull Street Road in Midlothian. It is equipped with the most advanced diagnostic imaging technology, including a 64-slice CT scanner, MRI, digital mammography, ultrasound, radiography and bone densitometry. The Center is a joint venture of HCA Virginia and Radiology Associates of Virginia. "Chesterfield Imaging Center will provide important diagnostic services to a large and growing patient base in Chesterfield County," said Patrick Farrell, President of HCAs Richmond Division. "It offers what patients are now expecting in the medical marketplace highly advanced technology from a convenient, easily accessible location." The GE Womens Health & Wellness tour includes two 53-foot vehicles a Health Vehicle and a Wellness Vehicle that feature exhibits and healthcare information relating to heart disease, breast cancer and osteoporosis. In addition, CJW Medical Center will have exhibits and information on its Womens Services, and tours of Chesterfield Imaging Center will be offered from 2 7 p.m. on Friday, May 12, and from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 13. Chesterfield Imaging Center is located in Harbour Pointe Village shopping center, 13636 Hull Street Road, Midlothian. The center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Patients may book appointments for screening mammograms without a doctors orders by calling 639-5486. All other appointments must be by physician referral. Patients will usually be seen in 24 hours or less, often with same-day results and little or no wait time.
